1. How do I know when to replace carpet and when to simply repair it?
   
2. How do I know when to try to fix a carpet problem or call an expert?
   
3. How much should I spend on carpet padding?
   
4. Our carpet was installed in the last few weeks and it has these dark strips running across it every few feet. Did we get damaged carpet or was it installed wrong?
   
5. We found a huge stain on our lobby carpet. We didn't have any reports of any recent spills. In fact, we recently cleaned the carpets just a couple of days ago. What's going on?
