Carpet
Our carpet was installed in the last few weeks and it has these dark strips running across it every few feet. Did we get damaged carpet or was it installed wrong?
It could be that your carpet probably was stored long enough so that its fibers flattened on the side that had pressure applied to it. Think of it as carpet "bed head." As it assimilates into its new environment, it will spring back again. If it doesn't spring back in a week or so, consult a professional.

Next Question: We found a huge stain on our lobby carpet. We didn't have any reports of any recent spills. In fact, we recently cleaned the carpets just a couple of days ago. What's going on?
