These are some important things to look for when you're looking for a new floor estimate: 1. Ask if the store employs staff installers or if they use subcontractors. A contractor should have experienced, steady employees, not subcontractors. 2. Ask what qualifications or certifications the installers have. They should be certified by flooring manufacturers. 3. Ask about the installers' experience and how they were trained. 4. Ask if the installation is guaranteed, and if so, what are the parameters. 5. Ask what support you will have after the floor is installed.
