Wood - Liquid Issues

Q:

I keep finding water on my basement hardwood floor of our house that was newly built, and I can’t find the source. What should I do?

A:

It could be the result of framing the house with wood that was wet from rain. This moisture needs to evaporate somehow and will find a way to do so. Basements are prime outlet areas. If the situation worsens, consult an expert.
