I have an uneven hardwood floor. What should I do to fix it?

A:

Uneven flooring can be caused by a warped or loose subfloor, or from joists that are warped or broken. Sometimes, pillars or the foundation simply settled. The substructure needs to be strengthened. Consult with a professional.
