Hardwood
Q:
I found tiny dents in my hardwood floor, which I think were caused by high heels. Now what?
A:
It depends. If the wood fibers only bent and did not break, you can fix it by placing a wet cloth over the mark and running a hot iron over the cloth. This should draw the fibers up to their original location. If the fibers broke, you can sand and refinish it, or if the damage is severe enough in your eyes, call a professional to repair the floor.
