Q:
I have a loose board on my hardwood floor. How can I secure it?
A:
You can always call a professional in to do that, but if you want to try it yourself, youll need to drill pilot holes through the subfloor and just into the board, from below the floor, then insert the screws. From above the floor, drill pilot holes, drive nails and then fill with wood putty. Finish with stain or a finishing coat.
