An area of linoleum that hasn't been covered by a rug in our foyer is yellowing from the sun (I'm assuming). Is there any way to lighten or even-out the discoloration?
Sunlight usually fades floors, but yellowing could be coming from wax residue on the floor, or from other floor care products Try to simply remove this residue. If you only use cleaners, there are cleaners for no-wax floors that have floor care products in them. If it is a vinyl floor, it could be coming from the glue under the vinyl. Some glues can yellow floors by not staying white. There is not much that can be done if this is the problem. You may want to consider getting assistance from an INSTALL professional contractor.
