Wood - Purchases

Q:

Where can I find a floor for my kitchen that has a plank wood look with peg nails at the end of the planks. Can you tell me who makes this?

A:

Bruce flooring had a plank wood flooring years ago. The style was called "Ranch Plank," with two pegs on the ends of each plank. Instead, why not make your own! You can do this by using unfinished plank flooring. Simply, drill the ends and plug the holes. Then, sand and finish the flooring. You would put pegs about 1 and 3/4 of an inch from the ends and sides. If you can't find premade and you don't want to make your own, you can try a laminate or vinyl that resembles the look you're trying to attain.
